Have the PlayStation Plus games for July just been leaked online?
At the time of writing, we have no official confirmation but a recent post by reputable data-miner Billbil-Kun, via the dealabs website looks to have leaked the PlayStation Plus games for July. These consist of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War for both PS4 and PS5, Alan Wake Remastered for both PS4 and PS5 and Endling – Extinction is Forever, again for PS4 and PS5. These titles would be set to drop on July 2 if indeed true.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War – available for both PS4 and PS5
As the title suggests, this Call of Duty title takes play in the political minefield of the 1980’s. Tensions between the USA and the USSR have never been higher and in the single player campaign, you aim to track down and stop the Russian Spy, Perseus, who looks to shift the balance of power in the Soviets favour. In addition to the thrilling campaign mode, the multiplayer maps bring some fresh new locations to do battle, (personal favourite has to be the satellite map!) And the old favourite, Zombies, returns as well.

Alan Wake: Remastered – available for both PS4 and PS5
Given that work is already underway on Alan Wake 2, it’s no surprise to see the original Alan Wake game listed, albeit the Remastered version. For those that have been living under a rock and haven’t had the chance to experience the 2010 award winning psychological thriller, I urge you to get this into your library! You won’t regret it. The game itself is a mastery in suspense and it’s difficult not to draw comparisons with this title and a Stephen King novel.

Endling – Extinction is Forever – available for both PS4 and PS5
For those that haven’t come across Endling – Extinction is Forever, it is an indie survival adventure game which was first released for PS4 and Xbox One back in July 2022 before being made available for PS5 and Xbox series X/S in November 2022. The game itself was developed by Spanish based Herobeat Studios and utilises a third person setting in a side-scrolling world. Players adopt the role of the las mother fox in a post-apocalyptic world and must protect and raise her kits. Endling – Extinction is Forever received nominations for several social impact awards back in 2022.
Whilst it should be noted that this a leak and not official confirmation, we expect an official announcement later today. But just looking at the titles, what’s your thoughts on the (rumoured) PlayStation Plus games for July?
