Disney’s thirst for making live-action movies is still sky-high, despite being criticized in the past for their terrible casting, adaptation, graphics, and ‘too woke’ agenda. Yet after recently getting attacked for the graphics in its 2023 The Little Mermaid, Disney is back again as the shoot of its live-action Lilo & Stitch movie is in the works with full force.
While it has been some time since the project was announced, fans were doubtful over its quality after witnessing Disney’s recent fails. Yet in a surprising turn of events, a few leaked videos and photos of the upcoming project have destroyed all negative Disney PR. And fans are shocked about how good Stitch looks in the live-action.
Disney Might Have Finally Gotten Animation Right as First Look of Lilo & Stitch is Revealed
For many of us, Disney movies and series like Lilo & Stitch hold a special place in our hearts because of the countless childhood memories attached to them. So, after witnessing the horror that is Disney’s recent live-action remakes, it is but understandable to be in a state of constant disgust and worry each time Disney announces its new live-action remake.
Furthermore, these live-action remakes are hardly remakes for each promises to undo all the bad and remove the ugly, the only problem being there is nothing bad or ugly in the original classics. And so, ever since Beauty and the Beast and the movies before and after it, fans have religiously hated and abhorred all such live-action remakes (see Reddit).
With the production and filming of Lilo & Stitch going on in Hawaii, fans are cautious and vary of Disney yet again destroying another beloved tale with its terrible narrative execution and animation. While we can’t really comment on the narrative, in a complete shocker, Dinsey seems to have finally gotten it right when it comes to animation.
In a TikTok video posted by user @paulinapullara, the first look of the upcoming Lilo & Stitch movie has been revealed. Although none of the footage and images feature a close-up, Stitch, the adorable wrecking ball of an alien, looks absolutely perfect. And when the footage and images of our beloved alien friend went viral on the internet, fans were shocked, to say the least!
Fans are Shocked over How Good Live-Action Stitch Looks
Disney’s upcoming Lilo & Stitch will be the live-action version of the original Disney’s 2002 classic of the same name. Starring Maia Kealoha as Lilo and Chris Sanders voicing Stitch, the film will feature the deep friendship between parentless Lilo and the blue alien, Stitch.
After inspiring many movies, TV shows, games, anime, and merchandise, the tale is engraved in the hearts of numerous fans worldwide, having left an unforgettable impact on generations of viewers who have adored its lovable characters and heartfelt story.

While no other details have been revealed till now, fans are hopeful that Disney remains faithful to the source material and does not end up destroying the Stitch that all Disney fans love and adore!
As of now, there is no release date for Lili & Stitch live-action.
