The compelling cliffhanger conclusion of Fast X left audiences in suspense, with Momoa Dante unmistakably in the driver’s seat. His return is eagerly anticipated, yet it appears that the character we once knew may undergo a profound transition.

Director Louis Leterrier, in a conversation with Empire, hinted at Dante’s evolution in the next installment. He stated,

“Let’s do something else. It’s never twice the same with Jason. Dante will truly evolve. Let’s explore something we haven’t seen before. He was fuelled by vengeance. He could have played it dark, angry.”

Further, the screenwriter added,

“But it was interesting to play with the duality and the push-pull within the character, where within the same sentence he’s laughing and feels the pain of losing everything. Only an actor like Jason could have done that.”

In Fast X, Momoa’s Dante deftly balanced harshness with humor, captivating audiences. However, beyond the cinematic intrigue, the electrifying rivalry between the Aquaman star and Vin Diesel has taken center stage, adding an extra layer of excitement to the franchise.

Fast & Furious was one of the oldest franchises that Hollywood had seen flourish with each installment. The franchise had recently seen the release of its tenth part, titled Fast X, and it had been full of surprises for the fans who were heading towards the end of the series.

Momoa, who had played Dante Reyes, the vengeful son of Fast Five antagonist Hernan, had sought retribution in the film against Vin Diesel’s character Dominic Toretto and his loved ones for their involvement in his family’s financial crisis.

However, the movie had not just welcomed back Dwayne Johnson and Gal Gadot but had also rolled out the carpet for Momoa to make his debut in the franchise. It turned out he had become the highlight, and that had not gone well with Dominic Toretto’s fame.

The movie, while it had received mixed reviews and a very mixed response from the audience, had Momoa who had been praised for his performance and antics.

It had turned out this very fact had left the 56-year-old upset, as he had reportedly felt that Momoa had stolen his thunder in Fast X. The reports had suggested that there could have been a new feud on the BTS of the Fast saga.

However, fans had been thrilled to watch the film rivalry between them in the upcoming Fast and Furious franchise.
