Hollywood suffered another tragic demise of a rising star Angus Cloud earlier this week after he passed away at his family home in Oakland. While the cause of the death is still unknown, the late actor’s family has stated that he was battling mental health issues and was also struggling to deal with the loss of his father, who passed away weeks days before the Euphoria actor.

Angus Cloud’s Mother Denies Potential Suicide Claims

Known for starring in the HBO TV series Euphoria, Angus Cloud passed away on 31 July 2023. The actor was pronounced dead after his family home after his mother reported a possible overdose, claiming that her son did not have a pulse. However, the reason for his death is not determined yet.

Despite the ongoing investigation, there have been claims about it being a potential suicide, as his family has shared that Cloud was struggling with the loss of his father. However, his mother, Lisa Cloud, took to social media to deny such claims as she shared the final moments of the late actor.

“Social media posts have suggested his death was intentional. I want you to know that is not the case,” she said in a lengthy Facebook post. She thanked friends and fans for their love and support before sharing that her son’s “last day was a joyful one.”

His mother further stated that he wanted to stay for a while at his family home and also offered to help his sisters at their college and his mother emotionally and financially. “He did not intend to end his life,” Angus Cloud’s mother said before adding that they said goodnight to each other and he told her that he would see her in the morning.

Lisa Cloud Suggests an Accidental And Tragic Overdose

Angus Cloud’s ex-manager has claimed that the North Hollywood actor had been struggling with substance abuse. In a Twitter thread shared before his passing, Diomi Cordero also shared an overdose incident. He shared that he resigned from his position after he became “extremely abusive” toward him.

In her social media post, Cloud’s mother also noted that he might have used something after saying goodnight to everyone. “I don’t know if or what he may have put in his body after that,” she said in her post. She also said that there is a possibility that the autopsy may state an accidental overdose.

“We may find out that he overdosed accidentally and tragically, but it’s abundantly clear that he did not intend to check out of this world,” she continued. Cloud’s mother concluded the post with a small request from friends, family, and fans to honor the late actor’s memory with random acts of kindness in their daily lives.
