Kevin Spacey finds himself in the headlines once again as a new Channel 4 documentary, Spacey Unmasked is bringing unheard testimonials from 10 alleged victims to light. The alleged victims have voiced their uncomfortable experiences with the former, with one particular incident being downright disturbing.
While he has been cleared of all the charges of sexual assault leveled against him last year, the new docu-series brings light on other allegations of his inappropriate behavior. One alleged victim recalled their encounter, revealing that the actor performed a lewd act while watching Steven Spielberg’s acclaimed movie, Saving Private Ryan in theatres.
Kevin Spacey Allegedly Performed a Disturbing Act While Watching Saving Private Ryan
The two-part documentary series, Spacey Unmasked features interviews with 10 individuals, reflecting on their experience with the Oscar-winning actor.
According to Variety, none of these individuals had any connection to the previous trial as their testimonials span five decades. One particular incident allegedly occurred at a cinema involving the alleged victim, who was then a young actor named Scott. Scott recalled meeting the actor in 1998 at The Viper Room nightclub in Los Angeles, where they developed a friendship.
The alleged victim remarked that the House of Cards star called him “the following morning and suggested they see ‘Saving Private Ryan’ together in the cinema.” This is among the “most graphic testimonies on Spacey Unmasked” as Kevin Spacey allegedly pleasured himself while watching one of the strongest scenes in Steven Spielberg’s 1998 war epic.
He recalled,
“During the film’s bloody opening scenes set during the Normandy landing, Scott alleges that he looked across and saw that Spacey was ‘pleasuring himself.'”
This was one of the many testimonies that have been brought to light once again. He even alleged that the Baby Driver star further “reaches over and grabs my hand and tries to get me to help out.”
Kevin Spacey Denies New Allegations Featured in Spacey Unmasked
Ahead of the documentary’s release, he addressed those claims in an interview with former GB News presenter Dan Wootton. He denied doing anything illegal as he stated,
“I take full responsibility for my past behaviour and my actions. But I cannot and will not take responsibility or apologise to anyone who’s made up stuff about me or exaggerated stories about me.”
He even addressed the same on his X account, arguing he wasn’t given enough time to respond to the allegations. He wrote,
“Channel 4 has refused on the basis that they feel that asking for a response in 7 days to new, anonymized and non-specific allegations is a ‘fair opportunity’ for me to refute any allegations made against me. I will not sit back and be attacked by a dying network’s one-sided ‘documentary’ about me in their desperate attempt for ratings.”
Last July, a London jury acquitted Spacey on nine charges. That was his second victory since 2022 as a New York Jury found him not guilty of sexually assaulting Anthony Rapp in the early 1980s when Rapp was 14. The actor has consistently denied all the allegations.
Spacey Unmasked airs in the U.K. on May 6 and 7 on Channel 4 and will stream on Max in the U.S.
