The actor is now launching a clothing line inspired by quotes from Hitler. But fans are not pleased with the idea.

Austin St. John, the original Red Power Ranger, is reportedly launching a clothing line with quotes from various historical figures, including Hitler.

In a clip from the February 26 podcast episode of Toon’d In With Jim Cummings, the 49-year-old discussed the reasoning behind his controversial merchandise—which has been making the rounds on social media. The Red Power Ranger star said:

“I’m building a ‘Warrior’ line, where I will go back in history from pre-greek days, as far back as I can,” the actor explained. “I’m gonna have famous quotes from warriors of all ilks, including the terrible ones. Hitler was, you know, a demon on steroids, but he had some pretty good one-liners. So everybody from the great ones to the infamous and terrible ones.”

St. John stated that the clothing line will also include quotes from Bruce Lee and Chuck Norris, stating, “The idea is to learn from both good and bad leaders in history.”

In addition to fans criticism, even fellow Power Ranger Amy Jo Johnson doesn’t support Austin St. John’s clothing line. The actress who played Kimberly Hart (Pink Ranger) in the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers wrote in a Monday X post: “Hmmm? I think some people should have publicists. Dear me…”

After followers speculated about her post’s reference, Johnson made a more direct callout on Tuesday, writing on X, “Rogue Red Ranger has an entire new meaning. Okay I’ll stop now.”
