Power Rangers is an enduring franchise that has made our childhoods awesome. It has been around for a long time, entertaining us with its action-packed episodes. When it comes to the Red Ranger, he was the ultimate superhero for all of us.
Because he was the one who always led the charge, showed guts, and was just downright awesome. Whether it’s their cool red suits, epic fights, or those pump-up speeches, Red Rangers always hit the right note with fans of all ages.
Austin St. John was the man behind the Red Ranger mask in the original series. He played Jason Lee Scott, the leader of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, making him the first Red Ranger we ever saw on screen. After his stint in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, St. John continued his Ranger journey.
He was seen in the role of the Gold Ranger in Power Rangers Zeo, made an appearance in the Turbo Power Rangers movie, and also in the episodes of Power Rangers Wild Force and Power Rangers Beast Morphers. The actor is now launching a clothing line inspired by quotes from Hitler. But fans are not pleased with the idea.
OG Red Power Ranger Set to Drop an Exclusive Clothing Line
Austin St. John, the original Red Power Ranger, is reportedly launching a clothing line with quotes from various historical figures, including Hitler.
In a clip from the February 26 podcast episode of Toon’d In With Jim Cummings, the 49-year-old discussed the reasoning behind his controversial merchandise—which has been making the rounds on social media. The Red Power Ranger star said:
“I’m building a ‘Warrior’ line, where I will go back in history from pre-greek days, as far back as I can,” the actor explained. “I’m gonna have famous quotes from warriors of all ilks, including the terrible ones. Hitler was, you know, a demon on steroids, but he had some pretty good one-liners. So everybody from the great ones to the infamous and terrible ones.”
St. John stated that the clothing line will also include quotes from Bruce Lee and Chuck Norris, stating, “The idea is to learn from both good and bad leaders in history.”
His announcement of a merch line with quotes from famous figures, including Adolf Hitler, caused a lot of outrage online. Check out some fan reactions:
Yeah idk what would have given him any inclination of that being a good idea. 😕

There's no way this could be real. 😡Hitler wasn't a "warrior." He was a murderer. What's the world coming to where antisemitism is making an appearance now more than ever and people are joining the band wagon?

Fellow Power Ranger Amy Jo Johnson Opposes Austin St. John’s Clothing Line
In addition to fans criticism, even fellow Power Ranger Amy Jo Johnson doesn’t support Austin St. John’s clothing line. The actress who played Kimberly Hart (Pink Ranger) in the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers wrote in a Monday X post: “Hmmm? I think some people should have publicists. Dear me…”
