Zoe Saldana Yelled at Her Death at a Funeral Co-Star

Zoe Saldana and James Marsden starred as a young couple who are about to get married in the 2010 film Death at a Funeral. During an interview with Parade, Saldana shared an incident that led her to warn the X-Men actor. The Guardians of the Galaxy star shared that it happened while filming a scene in which Marsden was “supposed to be naked.”

She shared that the scene was where the Sonic the Hedgehog actor would be on the rooftop, and she had to open the window and say, “What are you doing? Come back inside.” However, she didn’t expect what was about to happen next. Saldana shared,

“He didn’t give me any warning that he had taken off his pants. So I just opened the window and saw a lot more of him than I was expecting.”

She also said that she tried her best not to look anywhere but Marsden’e eyes. Later she warned the American actor to alert her if he ever does anything like that again. She shared that she told him that she would punch him if he does not alert her before doing something similar again.

During her interview with Parade, Zoe Saldana shared that she learned about keeping a straight face and keeping herself together while filming. The Losers actress shared that she found it hard not to laugh at jokes. However, after doing the same scene “a whole lot of times,” it didn’t feel that funny to her.

“That’s the only way you can give your director one usable take where you aren’t breaking up,” she shared. Saldana shared that she would ask the director to do the scene multiple times, and eventually, she was able to do it as per the requirement.
