Saldaña starred alongside former X-Men actor, James Marsden in the American version of Death at a Funeral, a dark comedy about a dysfunctional family getting together for a funeral, resulting in chaos, secrets, and misplaced bodies. During the filming of the movie, an incident cause Saldana to threaten to punch Marden. What would have caused her to be caught so off guard?

Zoe Saldaña was expecting less showing of skin during the filming of a rooftop scene. It came to her as a shocker and she was not okay with it. Her immediate response to avoid getting uncomfortable was to look away and avoid looking at any overexposed skin.
“He’s supposed to be naked on the rooftop and I open the window and go, ‘What are you doing, come back inside?’ He didn’t give me any warning that he had taken off his pants. So I just opened the window and saw a lot more of him than I was expecting, and I’m just trying not to look below his eyes.” Said the Avatar star.
After the incident, The actress told Marsden to warn her if he did something like that again or she would punch him, which she very casually joked about. The actor’s response had been just as humorous with him stating that her eye contact did not falter.
Zoe Saldaña had a Similar Experience while filming 2010’s The Losers
Saldaña was faced with a different situation regarding her own nude scenes while filming the 2010 action movie The Losers where she was to be completely disrobed. She was reluctant toward it and was not scared to voice her concerns on the matter.
In the original scene, her character was supposed to be naked. This was not something Saldaña was comfortable with. She thought the nudity to be unnecessary and unbelievable. She negotiated with the director to have a tame, more realistic version of the scene. The filmmakers agreed to her request.
