It isn’t unheard of that fans have taken to social media to voice their feelings about a star taking up a role in a movie or series. After Marvel announced their star cast for the upcoming Fantastic Four movie, the fans of the franchise took to social media once again and asked The Boys star, Jack Quaid to portray the role of an ally robot, Herbie in the upcoming movie.
Marvel announced the star cast of Fantastic Four
On the occasion of Valentine’s Day, Marvel took it upon themselves to give their fans a treat and announced the star cast of their upcoming Fantastic Four movie after first announcing the reboot of the franchise back in 2019 and the fans could not contain their excitement.
The news of Pedro Pascal allegedly being cast as Reed Richards aka Mr. Fantastic was already making the headlines for a long time now so Marvel decided to make it official. Yesterday, Marvel announced the cast details and release date of the movie and confirmed that the Chilean actor will indeed take up the mantle of the leader of the Fantastic Four.
Other than Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach will also be present in the movie and will be portraying the roles of Sue Storm aka the Invisible Woman, Johnny Storm aka the Human Torch, Ben Grimm aka the Thing in the movie respectively.
Fans ask Marvel to cast Jack Quaid as Herbie in Fantastic Four
After the lead cast of the movie was announced, the fans have now taken it upon themselves to get Marvel to cast Jack Quaid as the voice of Herbie in the movie. Fans took to social media and asked the studios and The Boys actor to be the voice of the Ally robot in the movie.

Since Herbie is just a robot, whoever is cast in the role would have to voice act anyway but Jack Quaid would definitely be a great choice for it nonetheless. Griffin Newman is another fan favorite for the role of Herbie but Marvel has not made any official comments about the casting of the role as of yet.
Fantastic Four is all set to release in theaters next year on July 25, 2025
