One of the prominent filmmakers, Christopher Nolan, is known for giving several blockbusters to Hollywood, including The Dark Knight trilogy starring Christian Bale. However, the trilogy is not the only DC movie series he has been associated with, as he has also served as the producer of Zack Snyder’s DC Extended Universe. Nolan was the one who pitched David S. Goyer’s concept for the 2013 movie Man of Steel and also hired Zack Snyder as its director.

Despite being the producer of the film, he was not able to give it much time, as he was busy working on The Dark Knight Rises.

During an interview with Total Film, Snyder revealed that he had frequent discussions regarding the production with the Oppenheimer director, but he was not able to visit the set that often. Talking about his reaction to the final cut, he said that Nolan seemed “a bit relieved.”

“He was like, ‘Wow, amazing.’ He really was excited, and I think that, and maybe a bit relieved,” he said. The Rebel Moon director further shared he couldn’t actually tell what Nolan thought of the movie, as “he is hard to read as a person.”

However, he believed that it would have been “quite the thing” for the filmmaker as it was the first movie he worked on that was not directed by him. While Snyder was unable to read what Nolan felt about the movie, he later stated that Man of Steel is a remarkable take on Superman, saying that he was confident people would love Snyder’s work in the 2013 film.
