Jeremy Renner is one of the actors in the industry who is always filled with enthusiasm whenever he is spotted during a public appearance. His vim and vigor are appreciated and loved by his fans. But, Elizabeth Olsen had a different story to tell that makes it very clear that, the Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation actor is very focused and serious when it comes to his work. The Oldboy actress talked about the moments when she was filming her scenes with the 52-year-old actor. While talking about Renner, the In Secret actress said,

“I was intimidated by him because of his dryness and because he doesn’t sugarcoat things. He’s not overly friendly. My character had these powers I was trying to figure out for the first time. And I was like, ‘What the hell am I doing here?’”

When Olsen felt lost during the filming of the 2015 action-adventure movie, she reached out to Renner just to know how to get her character right. The Tag actor helped the 34-year-old actor and explained how he tries to portray the character during the filming. While talking about her conversation with Renner, Olsen said,

“I asked him, ‘This is really overwhelming what do you even focus on?’ And he started talking about his character’s family, and how that roots him into something tangible. That’s exactly what you should be doing, and I should have already known that before starting: that you need to find something tangible in these moments of chaos.”

Right after working in Avengers: Age of Ultron, Renner, and Olsen collaborated in the 2017 crime thriller movie Wind River. The movie was released on 30 August 2017.
