It’s no secret that Hollywood icon and activist Jane Fonda used to wear her heart on her sleeves. Jane Fonda feels that Robert Redford probably had an issue with women

While talking about how she fell in love with Redford during film shoots, she revealed that her love was never reciprocated. Primarily because the leading man of the movie did not like to kiss. She added,

” He’s always in a bad mood, and I always thought it was my fault. He’s a very good person. He just has an issue with women.”

Throughout her life, Jane Fonda has had an exciting love life. Beginning with her first husband Roger Vadim whom she married in 1965, the Grace and Frankie actress later married activist Tom Hayden in 1973.

Moreover, prior to her marriage to Hayden, Fonda was in a relationship with French filmmaker Jean Luc Godard who directed her 1972 film, Tout Va Bien. While talking about their split, Fonda shared,

“He was a great filmmaker. I take my hat off. A great filmmaker. But as a man? I’m sorry. No, no.”

Having worked in three movies with Redford earlier in her career – 1966’s The Chase, 1967’s Barefoot in the Park, and 1979’s The Electric Horseman- the duo reunited once again for the 2017 film Our Souls at Night. However, this time, Fonda did not feel the same chemistry as she did during her previous encounters with Redford.
