Last year, disgraced That ’70s Show Star Danny Masterson was found guilty of two out of three counts of r-ping women, leading to him being sentenced to 30-year to life in prison. According to the prosecutors, the two separate incidents occurred between 2001 and 2003 in the convicted actor’s former Hollywood Hills home.
And in a recent development, the convicted r-pist has been denied bail. This was after the Judges deemed him a potential flight risk following his separation from his wife of 12 years Bijou Phillips.

Danny Masterson’s Denied Bail After Being Deemed a Potential Flight Risk
While Bijou Phillips was an avid advocate for Danny Masterson throughout the trial, not long after the verdict, she filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences as the grounds for their separation. And with Philips having the legal and physical custody of their nine-year-old daughter Fianna, the Los Angeles Superior Court judge denied Masterson’s bail, worrying that he could make a run for it. Referring to the disgraced actor’s divorce proceedings, Charlaine Olmedo deemed Masterson has every incentive to flee the country with no family to go home to avoid the remainder of his sentence.
Per the Court documents obtained by Deadline, the judge wrote:
“In light of the fact that defendant has no wife to go home to, defendant now has every incentive to flee and little reason to return to state prison to serve out the remainder of his lengthy sentence should his appeal be unsuccessful,”
Masterson will likely remain in custody for additional years or perhaps the remainder of his life “If defendant’s conviction and sentence are upheld on appeal”, stated Judge Olmedo.
Bijou Phillips Allegedly Cut Ties With Scientology Following Danny Masterson’s Verdict
“‘It’s never an easy decision to leave Scientology because you face being ripped apart from your family and friends who are still members. In Bijou’s case, she had nothing to lose and wasn’t about to cut ties with Danny, per Scientology’s disconnection rules. Bijou would never do that to her daughter, plus her sisters, her close friends none of them are Scientologists.”
But considering there isn’t any substantial evidence behind these claims, it can’t be said for sure how much truth exactly resides in this story.
