With him out, there appeared many names to star as Sentry. Fans have already speculated actors like Alexander Skarsgård, Henry Cavill, Alan Ritchson, and some others in the role. A recent report suggested that the MCU would be offering the role of Sentry to a 27-year-old actor. However, it’s been said that even this actor passed this project.

Euphoria fame Austin Abrams Reportedly Passed The Role of Sentry

Thunderbolts is one of the most hyped-up upcoming movies in the MCU. Besides being a team-up movie after a long time in the MCU. However, the exit of The Walking Dead actor Steven Yeun was a significant blow to the upcoming Marvel movie. He was the top choice of most of the Marvel fans and the news broke many hearts.

And then, it has been reported that Marvel wants another The Walking Dead star, Austin Abrams as Sentry in Thunderbolts. Abrams played Ron Anderson in the fifth and sixth seasons of the AMC zombie series, as well as Ethan Daley in Euphoria and Dash in Dash & Lily, apart from starring in films such as The Kings of Summer, Paper Towns, and Chemical Hearts.

Meanwhile, the latest report emerges from insider Daniel Richtman that even Abrams has passed the role. He has been a part of numerous projects, though in small roles. And,  fans were concerned about how an actor like him would play a character like Sentry, one of the most powerful beings in the Marvel Comic Book Universe.

While some say that even an actor like Abram now turns down Marvel’s offer, many still think Steven Yeun was the best choice and Marvel could not get him on board.
