Tom Cruise Lost His Temper On Being Called A Teen Star

Tom Cruise’s former manager Eileen Berlin opened up in an interview about the short-tempered nature of the A-lister. While talking to Daily Mail, she recalled presenting an album comprising all the articles about Cruise from the teen magazines on the actor’s 19th birthday. But the megastar was less than impressed by the gift. She recalled,

“He screamed, ‘I don’t want to be in the teen mags.’ He had told me he considered himself an adult, not a teen idol. He threw the album hard at me and it hit me on the cheek.”

She further added,

“Tommy had a terrible temper. He harbored a lot of anger at his natural father. He was moody and would get angry in a snap of your fingers.” 

Eileen Berlin was his first manager and worked till the release of his first Top Gun movie in 1986.

As per reports, Cruise’s movie Knight and Day was set to release around The twilight sagaEclipse, as the actor thought Robert Pattinson’s movie would not get much audience. However, it turned out to be a blockbuster hit, grossing around $698.4 million worldwide.
