The non-profit organization was accused of lacking diversity in its nominations. This created an uproar of criticism from the people and other institutions, and ultimately HFPA had to undergo major restructuring to mitigate said harms.

On this, the insider alleged that Cruise was uncontrollable and unreasonable as he blames Pitt for the Golden Globe snub.

According to the source, Tom Cruise is not just pissed with one of his contemporaries but quite a few. He has been avoiding calls from The Aladdin star Will Smith. Burning the bridges with so many of his contemporaries might make it tough for him to promote his upcoming films Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part one and two.
