Arnold Schwarzenegger has done it all. He has scaled the heights of Hollywood, having made an impact on an entire generation, giving them cult classics like The Terminator and Predator, making his name synonymous with bombastic action films (and cyborgs, of course!). But the Escape Plan star was not one to remain within the confines of the industry, taking a dip into politics. Schwarzenegger was elected as the Governor of California, a post he went on to hold from 2003 to 2011. He couldn’t run for the post again, but that doesn’t mean that he had forsaken politics, or speaking about it in public.

Arnold Schwarzenegger continues to enjoy the support of the masses. His tenure as the Governor of California might have been cut short by restrictions imposed by the law, but he still continues to enjoy the masses’ support.

This success can’t be attributed to his cinematic works only, though. The Expendables 2 star’s popularity is in no small part down to his heartfelt appeals to the citizens of the nation and a strong push for countering movements motivated by hatred, primarily anti-semitism. And he also opened up on what he feels about Donald Trump.

In an interview with CNN’s Chris Wallace, Arnold Schwarzenegger opened up about what he thought about Donald Trump – the political maneuvers he employed, does he have any political prospects, and the man himself. And Schwarzenegger did not hold back.

The 75-year-old was not one to mince words when it came to the businessman-turned-politician. The Last Stand actor released a video in the aftermath of the Capitol Hill incident, making some scathing remarks about the former President.

The actor-turned-politician was left appalled by the incident, lamenting what hate had done to the people. He bashed President Trump, whom he labeled a “failed leader”.

The Total Recall star said,

“He (Trump) would go down in history as the worst United States President ever. The good thing is that he will soon be as irrelevant as an old tweet.”

That was the only silver lining for him. He was sure that Trump’s days as President were over, saying that he would never be re-elected, dismissing him as a relic of the past.
