The 2024 Grammys have come and gone. On one hand, fans had the pleasure of watching their preferred artists bag some incredible awards, while on the other hand, some fans were let down by seeing their favorites being overlooked. Unfortunately, fans of Lana Del Rey fell into the latter category.
As the exceptionally talented singer walked out of the event with zero gramophones in her hand, fans were left heartbroken. Luckily, Lana Del Rey’s empathetic managers were right there to console her and lend a shoulder to lean on. In a behind-the-scenes video making rounds on the Internet, you can clearly see the bond Lana Del Rey shares with her two managers.
Lana Del Rey’s Managers Rush to Comfort the Singer
For last night’s Grammys, Lana Del Rey was nominated for a whopping five categories – Best Alternative Music Album, Song of the Year, Best Alternative Music Performance, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, and Album of the Year. Despite being nominated for five awards, Del Rey was not honored even once to fans’ utter disappointment.
One of the biggest awards of the evening, ‘Album of the Year,’ went to none other than Taylor Swift herself, who took to the stage to receive her gramophone for her latest album Midnights. Del Rey’s album, Did You Know That There’s A Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd, was also nominated for the same.
One rejection after the other sure must have dampened Del Rey’s night but worry not as her managers were right there on the scene to hold her chin high. As the Summertime Sadness singer walked away, she was greeted by her managers, Ben Mawson and Ed Millett, who embraced her and gave her some much-needed love. Check out the video below.

Throughout her music career, Del Rey has received a total of eleven nominations at the Grammy Awards. Unfortunately, she has not managed to bag a win yet. Here’s hoping the Dark Paradise singer breaks her streak soon!
Taylor Swift Honors Lana Del Rey
Swift made history at the Grammys for being the only artist to win Album of the Year four times. While accepting the award for Midnights, Swift didn’t forget to express her love for Del Rey, who was also a featured artist on the album. The You’re on Your Own, Kid singer stated,
“Lana Del Rey was hiding, but I think so many female artists would not be where they are and would not have the inspiration they have if it weren’t for the work she’s done. I think she’s a legacy artist, a legend. I’m so lucky to know you and be your friend.”
Del Rey collaborated with Swift for the latter’s song, Snow on the Beach. Honestly, there is nothing better than seeing such a friendship between two legends of the music industry. Long gone are the days of rivalry. Now, it’s all about lifting each other up!
