Priyanka Chopra made her Hollywood live-action debut with Baywatch in 2017, playing the role of Victoria Leeds, a night club owner who’s intent on spreading and smuggling drugs under the noses of lifeguard Mitch Buchannan (Dwayne Johnson) and his team.

Seth Gordon’s action comedy, which also featured stars like Zac Efron and Alexandra Daddario, disappointed critics and performed underwhelmingly at the box office.

However, it did win over some hearts by keeping with the tradition of the television series Baywatch by delivering lovely slow-motion shots of its cast running on the beach. Johnson and Efron, in particular, turned up the heat by showing off their muscular physique. It’s tough to see many actors replicate the same magic, but Chopra came up with a very interesting suggestion.

Who Is Baywatch Star Priyanka Chopra’s Celebrity Crush

Baywatch is predominantly about stories of super dedicated lifeguards going to extreme lengths to control and keep the crowds safe, but ever since it arrived on our screens in 1989, the biggest selling point of the show has been its slow-motion shots of bare-bodied lifeguards running towards something (usually its danger).

Both David Hasselhoff (Mitch Buchannon) and Pamela Anderson (Casey Jean Parker) became America’s favorite lifeguards, and their red Baywatch suits became as famous as the capes of Batman and Superman. As such, when it was decided to take Baywatch’s idea to the big screen, finding actors who could look as good as Hasselhoff, shirtless, became very crucial.

We cannot comment on their acting prowess, but it’s fair to say both Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron did a fine job. However, if the producers ever decide to make a sequel, they should consider Priyanka Chopra‘s brilliant suggestion.

When asked to name a celebrity she’d love to see wearing a red Baywatch swimsuit, Chopra told ET Canada“I’m a Tom Hardy fan. He’d be great in a bathing suit.”

Interestingly, Chopra has gushed over Hardy’s look more than once. In a separate interview with W Magazine, the Indian actress admitted the Mad Max: Fury Road star is beautiful, and went on to add she found him cute in the movie opposite Reese Witherspoon (This Means War). It won’t be far-fetched to say, we may have found Chopra’s celebrity crush!

When Did Nick Jonas See Priyanka Chopra for the First Time

The Quantico star’s celebrity crush might be Hardy, but the love of her life is, Nick Jonas. The pair, who met in person for the first time in 2017, tied the knot in December of 2018. It all started with a DM on Twitter from the singer and songwriter.

However, social media isn’t the first time Jonas saw the actress, who is 10 years older than him. In fact, he first got a glimpse of the winner of the Miss World when he was 7.

In an interview on Jennifer Hudson Show, Chopra revealed that her mother-in-law, Denise Miller-Jonas, once told her that Jonas first saw her on television in 2000 when his dad, Kevin Jonas, Sr., was watching the beauty pageant that Chopra won.
