Helldivers 2 is currently being played by numerous gamers on both PC and PlayStation 5. The tales of its success are getting popular in every corner of the internet. And there’s a valid reason for its success: its vibrant work and its engaging core gameplay loop. And most important of all, it has no shortage of challenging enemies for players to fight and defeat.

Belonging to a bunch of different factions, these enemies have different abilities. Abilities that can make it very hard for gamers to defeat them. Here’s a list of some of the meanest and toughest enemies belonging to the Terminid class in Helldivers 2.

1. Scavengers

These are the most common Terminid-class enemies players would encounter in Helldivers 2. Even though they come out and attack players in large groups, taking them down is not very complicated.

Players just have to point and shoot; these insects go down in just a few shots without being much of a nuisance. For best results, it is recommended that players use the Stalwart of the Liberator assault rifle.

2. Warrior

Another small type of Terminid enemy. Players can find these insects all over in those bug missions. And they are always hanging around their scavenger buddies. The only thing is that they have a very string-armored shell on their body, and they are armed with sharp claws.

Still, if one has a shotgun or a weapon with armor-piercing rounds, they can make quick work out of these enemies. The Breaker Shotgun can take these things down in one shot if players have it unlocked.

3. Hunter

These are the kind of enemies that do exactly what their name suggests: they hunt. Pouncing from one location to another, they are always on target. These enemies start appearing during the bug missions from medium difficulty onward.

These melee-damaging insects are not very hard to kill, though. Their speed can make things a bit complicated, but the moment players can shoot them, they can be taken down just by shooting normal bullets.

4. Stalker

This is where things start getting complicated. The stalkers in Helldivers 2 are found throughout the bug missions, but as commonly as they appear, they are as hard to spot. So how does one solve this puzzle? These enemies camouflage themselves, so all players have to do is throw a smoke grenade in their general direction.

After locating them, just start firing; the tricky part ends with spotting them. They go down pretty quickly, even when players are using guns with normal bullets. But always remember, take them down fast, as their tongue whips do some heavy damage.

5. Bile Spewer

These are large bugs that are, no doubt, very easy to spot. They would have been as easy to kill as they are to spot if they spit acidic bile at players. This can cause some heavy damage and quickly become a cause for annoyance.

That’s why it is recommended that players go behind these enemies and target their backs. Or it is very possible that a bile thrower would leave the player with very low health by the time they were dead.

6. Bile Titan

Some say that these are some of the toughest enemies players would find in Helldivers 2. And they might even be, given the fact that they are just a larger bile spewer with a larger health bar and an armored shell. They move quicker and throw even more acid at the players.

Killing them is not easy, and the ways to kill these titans can fill a book. But if one needs a crash course, they must keep a distance between them and this enemy. Use your best explosive weapons and armor penetration rounds on this beast. Do not stay in front of it, and you might win the battle against the titan.

7. Charger

Helldivers 2 servers are now fixed and the max player cap is updated.

This is the kind of enemy that’s not hard to defeat, but it’s very tricky. These are completely armored enemies that cannot be damaged with normal weaponry. As their name suggests, they would charge towards a player and keep doing so till they were dead.

But defeating them can be easy if players keep an eye on those yellow spots on their bodies. Those are the weak points; fire some armor-piercing rounds at those points, and voila, it is done. Or use a shotgun and just shoot off its limbs.

8. Brood Commander

A commander is one who actually commands its forces and guides them towards its enemies. And this is what this commander does too. This heavily armored enemy would control a brood, and it would send them after the player character to take them down.

It being heavily armored is annoying, and the smaller enemies it sends towards players do not make things any easier. Hence, the game is to just grab a powerful sniper and shoot it in the head from a distance. If players are accurate enough, they will take it down before it gets any closer.
