Helldivers 2 has been going strong despite facing several hurdles, such as the Steam and PSN account linking mandate or the delisting of the game from Steam in several regions that do not support the PlayStation Network. It seems like the game community is the best in the industry by far.

The Helldivers 2 community has review-bombed the game and then reversed it with positive reviews, and that says a lot about them. However, it all may come crashing down, and Super Earth might lose the war if the community is not together and players start doing what they see fit.

One Helldivers 2 Fan Is Not Happy With the Players on Difficulty 9

Helldivers 2 player u/Stevie-bezos took to the game’s subreddit and shared a long post titled, “Diff 9 players, why are you like this?” The player shared an incident while doing a mission where they were kicked out of their squad and couldn’t complete a mission.

They said that they joined on difficulty 9 vs. bots and wanted 1 super sample, which they weren’t able to collect for the past 3 missions. The player found super samples and was running across the map, dropping them at extract, and after doing half the side objectives, was later joined by randoms.

Then they completed the main objective, “carry data payload.” They were then waiting at the main objective for the 3rd to be completed and “raise and align comms array after they turn on the generator + extract.” However, their squad went to do a SAM site, and they asked for a little break, but then they were kicked out of the squad.

They added that they have played on all the difficulty levels, and the “community is great,” but Difficulty 9 Helldive is different, and they were left disappointed after being kicked. This is surprising given that Helldivers 2 is a co-op game and players are supposed to work together and not ruin the experience for their fellow players.

Several Other Players Have Faced Similar Problems

Helldivers 2 fans shared their experience by replying to the user on the post and expressing disappointment at what happened to them. Some also said that they too have been subject to such incidents.

User BilboSmashins said they only play Difficulty 9 and have been kicked for doing similar objectives as the player but would never kick someone out. One player said that there is “lots of trash” on Difficulty 9, as there are many players, but there are also nice players that cooperate well.

They said they have “learned to be completely self-sufficient in D9” and only host so that they are not kicked out. Players have advised the user to host so that they avoid being kicked, and they have also said that they are only on Difficulty 8 as the best players are on there.

Players have said the Difficulty 9 community has no strategy and does everything for fun, so even if someone is trying to collect samples, it is all fun for them as long as they have a good experience.
