It has only been a week since Helldivers 2 was released after many years of development, and so far it has been met with middling reviews as players are attempting to log in and enjoy the different planets, enemies, and explosives that you can use to bring peace and justice to the galaxy.

Sadly, this has been a rather difficult process as the game has been plagued with many different issues that have caused players to struggle to even load up the game, let alone complete any missions. Now there has been a patch to attempt to fix these issues. However, it brought more issues with it.

Because of the major issues within the game, the developers at Arrowhead Game Studios have been tirelessly working on patches to fix these many issues to ensure that players can enjoy the game without any issues.

So far, there have been a few different patches that have been brought to the game to fix a few of these issues, but the most recent patch 5 that was brought to the game may have brought more issues than it was intending to fix.

This is down to the fact that when this patch was released for Helldivers 2, it fixed the issues of servers not working, the game crashing, and missions not progressing. But thanks to this update, players are now struggling with degraded performance within the game, to the point where the game would become a slideshow rather than a seamless process.

Was This Update Worth It, or Has It Caused More Discourse Within the Community?

While there have already been a large number of issues within Helldivers 2, many gamers felt that it couldn’t get any worse, but now that this update has arrived and had to eventually be pulled back due to the chaos it brought along with it, we can only assume gamers are concerned.

What makes this update worth it is the fact that there has been a patch for players who are able to play the game and complete missions so that they can keep their rewards upon completion. Even though this patch has been rolled back, this portion of the patch has been left in to ensure players can still enjoy the game while it is being fixed.

Since this is mainly an issue on PC, there are still those who are managing to log in and enjoy the game, but there are some gamers who are also experiencing this issue on PlayStation, which could lead to the game receiving another patch, which hopefully won’t break the game any further.

What do you think about this sad news regarding Helldivers 2? Have you been suffering with these issues, or have you been bringing order and chaos to the galaxy? Let us know in the comments what you think!
