Helldivers 2 continues to set the bar for future live-service projects with amazing post-launch content. It’s a game that keeps giving, and a recent leak revealed enhanced Mechs, called Emancipators coming soon to the game. Mechs were recently added to the game after fans completed the challenge set by the developers to liberate Tien Kwan.

The Mechs gave players a massive advantage in the game and the upcoming Emancipators look to give gamers even more ammo to take down the enemies. Until the leaked Exosuit is officially released, the only Exosuit available to players is the Exo-45 Patriot Exosuit.

Leaked by Helldivers Alerts account on X, a gameplay clip of the upcoming Emancipator Exosuit was showcased featuring dual autocannons and new laser-shooting weapons. Mechs have already become a fan-favorite in the game and for that reason, fans are waiting to grab new Exosuits.

The Exo-49 Emancipator Exosuit was long rumored to be coming to Helldivers 2 and now that it’s leaked, an official announcement could be around the corner.

The Emancipator is seen rocking quad-autocannons firing 75 rounds from each side. A select number of players have already reported having seen the Exosuit in action but not recognizing it as it’s not available officially for everyone. For the same reason, fans are left to wonder just how effective the new suits will be against the Automatons and its defense capabilities.

The Patriot Exosuit in comparison has 14 rockets and 1000 minigun bullets and has a rather weak defense. Once players are out of ammo, the suit becomes useless and players are forced to get out of it.

There doesn’t seem to be any change to that with the Emancipator either, as once the ammo on both sides wears out, the suit becomes useless.

As much as fans are excited to get a new Exosuit in the game, the lingering issues with the Mechs seem to bother a lot of them at the same time.

More than a New Exosuit, Players Hope For More Ammo

As much as fans would like new Exosuits, a lot of those who replied to the post on X about the leaked gameplay clip hoped for more weapons and better armor for the suits. A few others replied stating a melee version would be equally damaging and would be a good addition.

One of those replies stated a lot more ammo would be needed, as suits become obsolete once the ammo is all used up.

Some of the fans even made a comparison to the Mortis Dreadnought from Warhammer 40K, given the similarity in color and the autocannons. For now, fans are hoping for an announcement about an official release date for the new Mech to drop in Helldivers 2.

There are also rumors of a third faction, apart from bugs and robots, entering the fray, called the Illuminates. Fans hope the new Mech suits are capable of handling the new and existing factions better.
