Helldivers 2 is a game featuring co-op elements, and players are expected to stay abreast of these. In such games, teamwork takes precedence over individuality, and numerous things, such as division of labor and sharing of resources, must be carefully considered. Well, at least those are the rules.
Even though several months have elapsed since the release of Helldivers 2, one issue persists, and fans are vocalizing complaints about that. Although this has been announced many times before, it has not been taken into consideration.
Helldivers 2 Reminds Folks That Resources Are Shared Evenly at the End of the Mission
In Helldivers 2, all Samples, Requisition Slips, Super Credits, and Medals collected during missions are evenly distributed among the team at the end of the missions. This is possible with Democratic Duplication technology. For instance, if a team extracts 10 Samples during a game, each team member receives 10 Samples.
Even though injustices are prevented this way, some players continue to kill their teammates with the idea that they will obtain more resources during the match. As complaints continue, a fresh reminder post was recently shared on the official Helldivers 2 Twitter (X) account.
The post underlined that all the resources obtained are shared equally at the end of the mission, and therefore, there is no need for players to kill each other. Yeah, it’s all about shared loot, and there will be something for everyone.

Many players who were faced with this problem came across the recent reminder post and shared their experiences. Considering all this, it is possible to say that most of the fans who kill their teammates do not know that the resources are shared at the end of the match. Of course, we shouldn’t overlook those who are familiar with this system but constantly seek more.
What’s the Latest on Helldivers 2?
Although the effects of Helldivers 2‘s strong launch in February have faded somewhat, the game is still played by a significant audience. Based on data from SteamDB, the popular co-op has 108K concurrent players on Steam. The peak point in the last 24 hours is 119K at the time of writing. This means that it has a stable performance.
That said, the game reached an all-time high of 458K players on February 24th. This was sufficient to place it among the top 20 most-played games on Steam lists. Moreover, it may be possible to reach a new peak with new content and additions in the future.
According to a report in March, the title managed to sell 8 million copies until the date the report was published. However, Sony has never confirmed this report, so it’s best to approach that with caution until an official statement is released.
