How much time of grinding it will take for all the rewards to be unlocked in Helldivers 2 is up in the air. But how many medals users will need for all of them has come to light. Medals are a part of the game’s progression and allow users to acquire in-game items as they advance in the game.
Though most of the items in the game are free, players would also need to spend some money for all the rewards that are in there. Undoubtedly, players would need to break some sweat to get their hands on them, they can fasten their progression by playing the game on higher difficulties. However, the game can become a living hell while playing on difficulties like Helldive.
Helldiver 2 Players Better Devise Some Good Strategy
The game’s time progression system, Warbond, includes a total of 2,701 medals, 2,015 of them free and 686 from the paid version, according a Redditor LeonDrummer. The game includes a variety of helmets, armor, and capes that protect them during the battles. The further players go into the Warbond, the more Medals will be required for new items.
Super Credits, the premium currency of the game, can come in handy during progression as it can buy Helldivers some rare sets of armor, weapons, and even a Super Citizen badge (show off). The special currency can either be purchased out of players’ pockets or at Points of Interest (POIs). Helldivers need to keep an eye out for them.
While players will automatically get the medals with their progress, they may as well devise strategies for faster progression, should they choose to. One such strategy may include completing Daily Personal Orders that can pull some extra medals in the game.
New Enemies Will Bring New Difficulties For Players
Thanks to LeonDrummer who shared the breakdown for several Helldivers 2 players. However, this is not the first time such a breakdown has been provided by a user. Steam community contributor Velxra shared something similar recently in a discussion. The user wrote,
There you have it. I have unlocked everything currently in the game. That amounts to 2,701 total metals you need to grind to reach the same. 2015 for the standard warbond and 686 for the premium warbond. Just keep in mind the max cap on metals you can keep is 250. It takes about 80 hours of regular play to reach this point.
The intergalactic war is likely to add more tension with the new content update. While Helldivers will be united with Mechs, the hulking Exosuits to enhance player capabilities, they may come face to face against the Illuminates, a faction where even Automatons could appear like kids.
Players better get ready as this may bring more rewards to beef up the inventory. Until then they can customize the current to keep the bugs and bots away.
