The developers have worked around the clock to provide players with an amazing gaming experience, and several updates have brought new content to the game. However, despite new content, players are missing one thing that was seen a lot during the early days of the game.

However, it hasn’t happened for quite a while, and fans are seemingly missing those random stratagem drops. Reddit user u/TheQuixotic6 took to the r/Helldivers subreddit and shared a post about this. They said that they were getting temporary free stratagems almost every week.

But now it’s been nearly a month, and there haven’t been any drops. They further said that the developers may be busy but “just wish we had it more often.” The user provided context, saying that there are stratagem drops once in a while, but they were way more constant back then.
The player also said that it made things feel different and fun in the game as the 5th slot stratagems are free and players used to try new builds with stratagems they hadn’t used before. It is clear that fans are missing the free stratagems and want them back in the game.
Fans Think Arrowhead Is Trying to Bring Things Back on Track
Helldivers 2 fans agreed with the player and added that they too have missed the free stratagems and should be back. Some fans also added that free gas strikes were dropped in the game, but some added that they have not seen weapon experimentation modifiers in the game for a while now.
Players have said that it was because they failed major orders, and if they want free stuff, they shouldn’t fail them. One user said that the free stratagems made them “feel way more empowering and offered more creativity with stratagem choice.”
