The new threat lurks around the players in Helldivers 2 for which they might not be ready yet. Automatons and Terminids have already made their in-game lives a living hell (which is also kind of fun) and now a new enemy is being teased. We are not talking about the third faction Illuminate but an addition to the available factions in the game.
Not too many of those tin cans are walking down there on planets like the Terminids that are spreading faster than the rabbit does. However, their capability to bring utter pandemonium can make even the fascist insectoids run for their lives. Meanwhile, this new member of the family might be the toughest they, and the Helldivers, have witnessed.
Things Just Got Heavy in Helldivers 2
The new Automaton brother is called the Titan, and as the name suggests, it’s huge. A user called TCMFGames took to the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to share the update with the community. “These look like the Bile Titan equivalent for the automaton side of the battle,” reads the post.
Despite the fact that they haven’t entered Helldivers 2 yet, the community is already buzzing with fear as to how to tackle that. The image shared on the internet will jog the users’ memory as it looks like the All Terrain Armored Transport (AT-AT) pulled straight out of Star Wars. “Joel have mercy,” the user prayed.

Game Master Joel was recently revealed by the Arrowhead CEO Johan Pilestedt and players came to know he’s the real big baddie and was pulling the strings, manipulating the events all along. As soon as they came to know he was behind the loss of Malevelon Creek aka Space Vietnam, one of the beloved planets in the game, they began seeking revenge from him.
So Helldivers Are Ready, With Their Ideas
Everyone threw their own suggestion as to how to deal with the bigger tin can. It surely won’t take just one big hit to take them down.
“A new eagle stratagem perhaps,” suggested a user BTak. Eagle Strategems are among the most effective companions players can use in the game with 500kg Bomb being super destructive.

One interesting suggestion came from Brandon who wrote, “I’d like to see grenades that turn affected enemies into our allies for about 20 seconds.”
There’s nothing like this currently available in the game, perhaps, it would indeed be interesting to see those tin Titans having a feud with Bile Titans.

After beholding the Doom-like planet Hellmire recently, some users suggested developers bring a strategem that bears resemblance to its vibe. Now perhaps might be a good time to think about it. Or better, bring the Doom guy to the Super Earth if the players want to watch a cinematic doom.
