Scorching temperatures and near-constant cycles of firestorms are normal for this planet in Helldivers 2. Hellmire is one of the four planets in the Mirin Sector where Helldivers would surely don’t want to go in there with their capes. Sadly, the community may not accept them if they go in there without a cape, after all, not all superheroes wear one, but Helldivers do.

The game features a vast array of planets with diverse environments on every one of them. Players have been seen getting attached to these planets which is something developers are always observing and taking into account to bring future updates. Recently, players were gutted after one of their favorite planets, Malevelon Creek, was taken over by Automatons. They are seeking revenge for it.

In one video shared over the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), players can be seen feasting their eyes on what appears to be multiple firestorms roaming freely in an inferno-like environment.

Players are already demanding a stratagem like it to rain fire on the enemies. “We need this stratagem in helldivers,” a user wrote.

By the looks of it, appears like it is going to be among the favorite planets of the Helldivers. Interestingly, and more hopefully, Automatons won’t be able to take over the region as easily as they were able to conquer Malevelon Creek. However, who knows what Game Master Joel might be planning out there.

It won’t be an easy feat for the players to conquer the planet either. One player shared his struggle on the planet, and sadly he burned, alongside his cape.

One user dubbed PuppYofDoom suggested a name for a potential stratagem that players are already eager for developers to bring. He called it “The Hellnado.”

Players want developers to take inspiration from Hellmire to deploy a stratagem.

And it wasn’t just X, the Helldivers 2 planet sparked a conversation on Reddit too. One user feel_your_feelings compared the burning planet to Australian wildfires. The user wrote, “Damn Australia really is always trying to kill you.” Dolefully, 100 such fires burned through 4,695 acres in the nation, destroying nature and structures altogether.

What could be challenging on Hellmire is a mission to evacuate civilians as one user suggested. A user called Attention_Bear_Fuckr wrote, “Just hope we don’t get an ‘extract civilians’ mission during a firestorm.

Undoubtedly, any feat will be challenging on Hellmire. However, whether will it be as challenging as Malevelon Creek, cannot be argued as of now. Given the conflict and lush jungles, Helldivers began calling it ‘Space Vietnam.’

Hellmire hasn’t got a name yet, but it does give Doom-like vibes. Players may not give the planet a name but they may well start calling themselves ‘Doomslayers’ while avoiding infernos there.

Do you think Hellmire is as challenging as it looks? Tell us in the comments.
