Naraka literally means hell if one will give it a look over Google. While a skillful player in Naraka: Bladepoint can easily make a lowly skilled player’s life hell, that buck stops with the bots in cold blood. Real players are being dominated by these bots and they certainly don’t like getting defeated by them.

Unlike the traditional battle royale games, the game blends in some elements of martial arts but other than that, it’s pretty much the same. The circle keeps getting smaller with time as players fight to be the last ones standing to win matches. As of now, the game features 16 playable characters to choose from to take to the battlefield.

Getting killed by a player who knows his/her art is tolerable. But getting dominated by a bot is nothing but adding salt to an injury. Naraka: Bladepoint players have been going through the same thing and were seen complaining about it on the internet.

A user named DsP-Gaming, who plays the game, took to the social network Reddit to present the issue he has been facing. His frustration is visible in there. Now he has had enough, which also coerced him to “take a break from Naraka“.

According to data aggregator SteamDB, 227K players are playing the game at press time. During the initial days of the game, some fans believed that 50 percent of the players we saw were bots.

But that might be the case with gamers playing at lower levels. Usually, they don’t confront the AI after reaching at a higher rank.

Bots in multiplayer games, especially battle royale games, are included to populate lobbies to fill the places when players are scarce.

While Bots Are Still at Large, Consider These Tactics to Deal With Them

Players will find the game a bit different from the other battle royale games.

No matter how good Naraka: Bladepoint is, the bots should be kept in check by the developers to keep the players engaged. Make the gameplay too easy; they’ll leave it out of boredom. Make it too tough, and they’ll leave it out of frustration. That’s why it needs to be, as Thanos puts it, “perfectly balanced“.

Regarding the bot issue, some fans have suggestions to keep them at bay while they are still at large in the game. YaksRespirators recommends ranged weapon in one of them.

During its PS5 release, players believed it will dethrone Apex Legends as the best battle royale title. Now that the game is in its 12th season, it shows players have gotten along with it just fine.

However, it is a far cry from being the best battle royale game as of now. Maybe some day, players will consider it better when they’ve had enough with the ones having guns (literally).
