Helldivers 2 emerged as an unexpectedly massive hit just two months into the year, and players are having a wonderful time playing the game. Sure, there were numerous server issues that accompanied the title for a while due to a huge player influx, but Arrowhead has swiftly taken care of the situation so that more gamers can join the battle to protect Earth from intergalactic hostile creatures.
Now that the problems with its servers have been solved to some extent and a larger number of soldiers have been deployed onto the battlefield, players are coming up with over-the-top ideas and impressively crazy war strategies to save the galaxy.
Helldivers 2 Players Are Looking to Devour the Bloodthirsty Robots
There are different types of enemy creatures that players have to defeat together in Helldivers 2 to keep them off the planet, which include murderous robots called Automatons. The enemies require precise coordination by all squad members if they want the mission to be successful, so a player took to the Helldivers subreddit to notify the community and brief it on a potential strategy to counter the bloodthirsty beings.
It turns out that these robots are actually “not moving towards Super Earth” at the moment, as they are heading towards their hometown of Cyberstan in the North, where their masters reside.
In an effort to rally other soldiers towards one goal in Helldivers 2, the Reddit user attached pictorial proof of the game’s map and told fellow players that they must not let the Automatons “reach their masters.” Given the fact that way too many gamers are currently immersed and invested in Arrowhead Game Studios’ title, it did not take long for the community to come up with its own ideas about how to handle the drastic situation.
One player suggested that they should “push the bots and bugs north until they are forced into each other,” which would ultimately force the opposing forces to fight it out among themselves and make the battles much “easier” for the good guys.
That Helldivers 2 Strategy Has a Potentially Dangerous Loophole
The Helldivers 2 soldier who suggested the aforementioned strategy left it open to one specific condition that could prove to be a massive loophole in the plan: what if the enemy forces start working together?
Which is why the player specifies that “unless it causes robot armored bugs,” which should not happen in any case, pitting the enemies against one another sounds like a smart idea.
Another gamer thought that it would be better if the Automatons were pushed south instead, where there are better chances of them running into “a surprise attack.”
What would be your potential strategy to take down the murderous Automatons in Helldivers 2? Would you rather push them onto the bugs or force them south? Let us know in the comments!
