Mechs are the latest addition for Arrowhead Games’ Helldivers 2 and players from all around the world are doing their best to help liberate Tien Kwan and acquire the newest content the game has to offer, unfortunately, they can be a little too fast that their servers couldn’t keep up. It was too overwhelming for the team and it could be a massive problem.
The player count has increased at a commensurate rate due to the popularity and success of the game, and the option to either play on PC or PlayStation 5 is a win, however, Arrowhead Game Studios was extremely unprepared for the number of players who wanted to dive in. Live service titles need a decent amount of fine-tuning and work to get them in the best shape possible for consumers.

The developers at Arrowhead are probably shocked by their speed, and Pilestedt even stated how impressed he was by liberating Tien Kwan four times faster than anticipated.
Impressed but seriously unprepared, Arrowhead needs to start thinking and planning a few steps ahead to avoid shortages or any problems involving the distribution of certain reward items. The servers for the game were already problematic before and soon stabilized but the recent addition of Mechs brought them back to square one.

It is a positive indication that players are grinding their way and doing everything to get the Mech, and server issues may upset fans, the CEO of Arrowhead Game Studios addressed them professionally and asked for patience and consideration despite being bombarded with angry and negative comments, an attribute his team should learn when engaging with the public.
