Helldivers 2 is a live service game about the spoils of war and Arrowhead Game Studios is doing everything possible to give the gaming community the best and most accurate depiction of the theme. However, it is still a game, and games like this are easily susceptible to flaws.
The players are both amused and confused with the infinite amount of throwing knives they can have in their person, and for a game that is adamant about being realistic, this is not a good picture. The fans are calling for the developers to see this bug resolved immediately.
The Helldivers 2 Community Are Not Fans of Infinite Throwing Knives
Director Johan Pilestedt and the rest of Arrowhead Game Studios recently rolled out a new patch that involves buffing and nerfing certain stratagems for Helldivers 2, but the gaming community can’t help but notice other issues that the update failed to address like the ammo capacity. The fans have noticed another odd feature, like being able to carry about 4 billion throwing knives, which raised a few eyebrows.
I guess throwing knives aren't so bad when you have 4 billion of them

This ridiculous amount is not only unrealistic but impossible to do in real life, which is what the game director is all about. Some fans have suggested the developers make some minor adjustments to the ammo capacity but Pilestedt responded that the team would have to rework the models and assets of the clips for the sake of realism.
The throwing knives may not be as powerful compared to a hand grenade but having an infinite amount of them could do some serious damage if used correctly. Perhaps a future patch will fix this issue, but the community is already expecting that it will break more than it will fix.
Helldivers 2 is Slowly on the Decline, but Can Still Bounce Back
Breaking immersion is not ideal for the developers, but the technical issues have grown more prominent. No matter how hard Arrowhead tries to remove a glitch, another will take its place in an endless cycle that has no end, and it needs to stop to avoid ruining the game any further.
The skills of the developers are being put to the test, but it is worth noting that the studio has been caught in a web of controversies and has received serious backlash over the past few months. With the continued support of the gaming community, Arrowhead Game Studios will surely bounce back.
Perhaps this is a minor inconvenience that the developers failed to notice, but that doesn’t mean they can’t remedy it. The beauty of live service games is that they will always receive support from the developers and add certain improvements where they see fit.
Infinite throwing knives are a ridiculous throwable option to have, and the players should make the most of it before the developers permanently fix the problem in a future update. It is wise to bet on Arrowhead to give the players a great time and don’t pressure them any further.
