The latest PlayStation blog has detailed the set of arsenal coming up with the next Warbond drop. Among the primary set of firepower is an armour-piercing assault rifle named the BR-14 Adjudicator Rifle. It’s described to be most effective against smaller groups. Then there’s the Eruptor Rifle that fires “jet-assisted shells that explode shrapnel in all directions upon impact“.

Finally, there’s a new crossbow named CB-9 Exploding Crossbow that does exactly as per its name. These are highly effective upon direct impact so players must ensure they aim them perfectly.

Among the secondary weapons, is a new Grenade Pistol which is exactly what one would assume, and it can fire one grenade per reload. There’s a sticky grenade in the mix as well, named the G-123 Thermite Grenade. These need to be stuck on surfaces by players, and like a termite on fire, these will reportedly burn up the surface “to a toasty 2000°C“.

Finally, there’s the Expert Extraction Pilot Booster which helps players get extracted faster by reducing the “time it takes for the extraction shuttle to reach the extraction beacon.

Upcoming Set of Armours Aren’t Bad Either

The upcoming Warbond will also introduce three new armours.

CE-27 Ground Breaker is mentioned as the Medium Armour included in the upcoming Warbond. There’s also a Light Armour named CE-07 Demolition Specialist which is mentioned as being capable of withstanding “rapid changes in pressure, heat, and personal velocity.

FS-55 Devastator is the Heavy Armour included in the Warbond that lets colonial farmers plant mines and crops next to each other without the risk of getting blasted to pieces. There is also a brand-new set of capes for players to choose from to wear with their chosen armour. These new capes include the Harbinger of True Equality, Eagle’s Fury, or Freedom’s Tapestry.

It’s a week-long wait before divers can get their hands on the next Warbond drop, which could be worth it. The usual set of Helldivers 2 cosmetics like cloaks, emotes and emblems are in the mix too. However, players will certainly be looking forward to the grenade launcher and the crossbow to inflict more damage on the Terminids and the Automatons.
