Henry Cavill’s Warhammer 40k adaptation appears promising

Following the tumultuous months that DC found itself before James Gunn landed the keys to it, one of the biggest surprises that arrived with the new regime was the axing of Henry Cavill‘s Superman. And adding insult to injury, the actor also parted ways with Netflix’s The Witcher, leaving fans extremely disheartened. However, fans once again found something to smile for, as the Man of Steel star is set to bring the Warhammer 40k IP to Amazon.  Not only Cavill will star in the upcoming TV series, but he will also produce, ensuring the adaptation will stay true to its Source material.

Fans are assured Henry Cavill is the best man for this job

It’s a well-known fact that Henry Cavill is adamant about staying true to the Source material for the project he is involved in, and in most cases, he doesn’t enjoy the original material being disrespected. And following the actor’s passion for the Warhammer 40k game, fans are assured that he is the right man to bring this popular IP to live-action. Some fan responses read,

“Henry better be on the hiring team for the writers, so any writer that says ‘we want to explore our vision of the Warhammer universe’ is given a swift kick out the door.”

“If Henry Cavill can actually do glory to the IP without producers or Amazon itself inputting their own bs, ill be happy”.

“I’ve had mad respect for Cavill ever since he publicly defended fans against being called ‘toxic.’ He called them “passionate,” and then justified their passion. One of us, indeed.”
