Speaking of projects, the actor once talked about one of his favorite games ever created. Although people might think it would be The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Cavill revealed that it was actually the game produced by Bethesda Softworks…the iconic game that made $1 billion in just 30 days, The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim.

Henry Cavill has been known far and wide across The Continent for portraying the role of Geralt of Rivia in Netflix’s The Witcher. Having portrayed the role of the monster-killing mutant for 3 seasons, people would expect that the Witcher games would be Cavill’s top choice for his favorites.
Well, it isn’t as simple as it seems since the Man of Steel actor is truly a gamer at heart. During one of his talks, the actor casually mentioned one of his favorite games of all time. The game in question was created by Bethesda Softworks and even earned a record-breaking $1 billion in 30 days! The game that made everyone take an arrow to the knee and Cavill’s personal favorite is The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim.
In an interview with GQ, Henry Cavill mentioned that he tested his luck at single-player games since playing multiplayer with his brothers was not possible. In the ocean of single-played games, the Justice League actor specifically pointed to The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim and exclaimed about the greatness of the game.
“I haven’t played [my brothers] in a while. They’ve been busy. So I’ve been playing a lot of single-player games, like Skyrim. Goodness me, that’s a great game.”
The interesting thing to note is that during its initial release, The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim generated a whopping $650 million during the initial 30 days. According to speculated reports, however, it was reported that a figure closer to the $1 billion mark was already broken.
Henry Cavill Lists His Favorite Games of All Time
With such prowess in the field of gaming, Henry Cavill also listed his favorite games of all time. Although the list comprises RPG titles and strategy games, the choices are indeed top-tier for the actor.
As per Cavill, his favorite games include World of Warcraft, Total War: Warhammer 3, The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim, and the obvious choice, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. After getting removed from The Witcher franchise, the Man of Steel actor is all set to helm the project of bringing the Warhammer 40,000 franchise onto to the television screens. Although he is busy currently shooting other projects, Cavill will indeed bring back the dream of bringing his magnum opus to real life.
