It’s no surprise when stars who have worked with Henry Cavill in the past sing praises about how genuine and caring The Tudors actor is and how easy and fun it is to work with him. Being a true British gentleman, he upholds the chivalry of a proper man, which is also one of the factors why fans love him so much. And so, Anya Chalotra, the actress who plays the role of Yennefer of Vengerberg in The Witcher, also had to say similar things about him.

After working with Cavill for two amazing seasons of the series, people were curious to know what the Wanderlust star thought about him. And during one of her interviews with Elle Australia, she replied to these questions, saying that he was a really thoughtful individual who is always enthusiastic about his work, and that serves as an inspiration to all his co-stars, while also being considerate enough during explicit scenes that they have to perform together as Yennefer also serves as Geralt’s love interest. She said:

“[Henry] is lovely! He’s a very sweet man—and the best person I could have worked with in this role – the enthusiasm and love he brings for The Witcher is always inspiring.”

Along with this, Chalotra also revealed that their on-screen chemistry was so good that the showrunners didn’t hesitate to immediately cast them together as the main characters of the show.

With Cavill’s departure from the show, the future of The Witcher has its future hanging in the balance. Netflix has confirmed that the third season of the show will be his last appearance as Geralt of Rivia, which will reportedly bring Liam Hemsworth into the show as the new face of the monster hunter to continue the series forward. Thus, season 3 will also see the development of Geralt’s and Yennefer’s love story.
