In his talks with Vulture, the actor recalled that he gave 10 pounds of bees to Ryan Reynolds and Scarlett Johansson because the Black Widow actress always used to talk about nature. Recalling the whole incident, the actor insinuated that that was how he and Reynolds became good friends over the years.

“Ryan is a savvy motherf–ker. I knew him from when he and Scarlett Johansson got married. My wedding gift to them was a beehive. Scarlett was always talking about nature. So I had my assistant go out and buy 10 pounds of bees and then I bought them bee suits and the whole thing.”

Samuel L. Jackson further continued about how the beekeeping between the couple eventually came to an end.

“One day the bees abandoned the hive or they abandoned the queen or some sh*t,”

Although the bees flew away and Ryan Reynolds and Scarlett Johansson divorced each other, the friendship between Reynolds and Jackson continued.
