Hollywood star Dwayne Johnson is seeing a few negative reactions from fans after the actor’s stance on Rebecca Ferguson’s shocking claims about a toxic male co-star. The Dune actor recently stirred the pot when she revealed the manner in which she stood up for herself after the unnamed actor took her for granted and screamed at her on set.
Ferguson’s brave move against her misogynistic co-actor prompted The Rock to give his two cents on the issue. Having worked with the British actor in Hercules, Johnson praised her courage to come forward and vowed to find the celebrity behind this toxic behavior. The Mission: Impossible alum who strongly put her foot down and defended herself, found a loyal ally in her Hercules co-star Dwayne Johnson. The Scorpion King actor applauded Ferguson’s courage to show the unnamed celebrity his place. In a comment on X, The Rock said,
“Hate seeing this but love seeing her stand up to bullshit. Rebecca was my guardian angel sent from heaven on set. I love that woman. I’d like to find out who did this.”
Following his show of support though, fans began to analyze his statement and tried to find ulterior motives to it. Many netizens seemed to have made the unfair and unverified assumption that Johnson stood by Ferguson only to cover the fact that he was the unnamed toxic male actor who screamed at her.
