Final Fantasy is a franchise still held dear by many fans. Its popularity has not waned over the years since it was first introduced in 1987. Arguably Final Fantasy 7 may be regarded by some as the greatest release of this franchise and this popularity led to the recent remake (in parts) which has been well-received and led many fans to call for several other entries to be remade.

However, some fans are less than impressed with this Final Fantasy remake and would rather see the tenth installment being addressed instead. It only goes to highlight that fans of the franchise have differing opinions on what their favorite title is.
