The king of action, Tom Cruise, is arguably one of the last classic action or last greatest action stars that the world has ever seen. The actor continues to soar high and push the limits of action films, as each of his films features more daring and breathtaking stunts than the previous one. However, his global fame is not because of his ability to do death-defying stunts by himself or his bewitching looks but his mastership of embodying his characters in different genres.
The Collateral actor has been working in Hollywood for 43 years and has grown to be an action icon, thanks to his Mission Impossible and Top Gun franchises. Nevertheless, Tom Cruise, 61, is getting old, and fans are concerned that it’s only a matter of time before the star stops doing action films. However, a studio executive has confirmed that Cruise isn’t stopping as an action star anytime soon.

Studio Executive Confirms Tom Cruise Is Far Away From Retirement
Tom Cruise is the last of the stars who seems to be enjoying immense success as an action star, and with each film, he seems to be more popular than ever. Cruise started his acting career in 1981 with a minor role in Endless Love, but by the end of the 80s, he became a global icon and one of the most recognized faces in the world.
The Valkyrie actor has continued to entertain his audience with his action films for over four decades, but now the actor is in his early 60s. Fans were worried how it was only a matter of time until he announced his last action film. However, the worries dissipated when an unnamed Studio Executive stated via The Hollywood Reporter, on how the actor is far away from retirement.
“He’s probably got another 10 or 20 years, maybe not hanging off buildings, but as a movie star.”
The news is confirmed as the action star has signed a new deal with Warner Bros. and sources state that they are planning to create a yet-to-be-identified project, which will be another massive action or thriller franchise.

Tom Cruise Made His Childhood Dream Come True
There’s no denying that Tom Cruise is the face of Hollywood, as he has reached immense success that can be hardly paralleled by any other actor. Being incredibly great at what he does, the actor has worked in numerous action films and franchises like Collateral, Top Gun, Mission Impossible, Edge of Tomorrow, and many more projects.
The actor was meant to become a movie icon, as he said in his speech after accepting an award for Pioneer of the Year via People, where Cruise shared that he grew up watching movies as it was his only escape from reality from a very young age. Soon, the escape became his passion, as he became the biggest name in the world.
“I grew up going to movies. It was really my life, my escape. It was really my world. I wanted to dream and I wanted to make movies since I was 4 years old, no lie,” he said onstage. “I remember thinking I just want to do movies. I would write skits for my family. I love what I do and that started in these theaters. It’s been and is such a privilege.”
While many forget their childhood dream, the actor made his childhood dream come true as he dreamt of becoming an actor ever since he was 4 years old. Needless to say, the actor did everything in his power to make his dream become a reality.
