But per an insider, one of her closest friends, Keanu Reeves, is reportedly trying to find his Speed Costar love again.
While reports suggest the Miss Congeniality Star is yet to overcome the loss, which is reasonable considering it has only been seven months, an insider revealed that she is ready to love again.
Keanu Reeves Is Reportedly Helping Sandra Bullock Re-Enter the Dating Landscape
Celebrated as one of the most adored onscreen duo, Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock have maintained a close friendship since crossing paths back in the 90s for the 1994 thriller Speed.
And per reports (via InTouch Weekly), Keanu Reeves is trying to reignite Bullock’s love life after Insider claimed that the actress is ready to move on, just not anytime soon.
“Sandra’s not done healing — it’s only been seven months — but she’s ready to move on. [She] would be open to finding love and starting over again. Sandra wants to let go of the pain and allow herself to love again…She knows Bryan wanted her to pick up the pieces and try to find a good guy.”
While it has been reportedly hard for her to entertain the idea of dating again, especially considering she is on the verge of 60, Reeves is said to have taken this responsibility to his shoulders.
“He has a buddy he thinks she would click with. Keanu’s trying to get her to go out with the guy, just as friends, hoping something could build from it. Bryan left some big shoes to fill, though.”
It might be a long wait before we see the Speed Star re-enter the dating landscape again, as she is yet to overcome the loss of her soulmate.
Sandra Bullock Had No Idea About Keanu Reeves’ Crush per the Actor
Before becoming life-long friends, Keanu Reeves had a secret crush on Bullock, which he admitted during his appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Reeves revealed,
“She obviously didn’t know that I had a crush on her, either… We were working. It was nice to go to work. She’s such a wonderful person.”
Touching on the possibility of dating the actress at the time, the John Wick Star expressed, “It would have been really nice.”
Speaking with Esquire, Bullock too entertained the idea of dating Reeves at the time, stressing that they could’ve survived as a couple. But while that never came to fruition, the two remain great friends, and fans would hope that Reeves succeeds in his reported mission of helping Bullock find love again.
