Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves made an iconic duo on the 1994 action thriller, Speed, and although it wasn’t the two stars’ first big break in Hollywood, it definitely was the first time each of them got star-struck and smitten with the other over the course of filming the movie. 30 years down the line, not only did both of the actors find their own way to global fame and stardom but also enjoys an immense fanbase dedicated and loyal to them.
But despite the tornado of eventful decades that has occupied their individual lives, one thing still remains constant to both Reeves and Bullock – they are still the most fan-favorite will-they-won’t-they pair of Hollywood as they themselves keep fueling their massive crush on each other throughout the years.

Sandra Bullock Reveals Her Gigantic Crush on Keanu Reeves
The Gravity actress and John Wick actor were once in a film together and it has dictated, informed, and defined every Hollywood decision from that point onward, including but not limited to their feelings toward each other. And one of the downsides to having your crush being in your presence was the instinct to draw as much of their attention to you as possible, and it is no different for a Hollywood actress. Sandra Bullock recalls her time speaking to Keanu Reeves, saying:
It drives you crazy. When I first met him, I would spend as much time as I could filling a silence, just to feel comfortable. And the more I jibber-jabbered on, the quieter he would get. And I thought I don’t understand what’s happening! He’s looking at me with eyes of confusion. He’s quiet. Did I say something to offend him?
And then a day or two later, he would arrive with a note or a little package, saying, ‘I thought about what you said.’ And he would have his response.”
If that is not classic Keanu Reeves, then what is? Over time, Sandra Bullock would go on to reveal just how far her crush toward her co-star extended saying that she was completely in awe of him as an actor and a person and continues to be so to this day.
Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves: A Missed Opportunity
If it was simply a crush, one would be perfectly okay to leave it at that and call it a day once the past was in the rearview and both Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves stepped off the sets of the Jan de Bont film, Speed. But the intensity of their crush may as well have been an infatuation, considering the number of years each of the A-listers has spent dwelling on what could have been had they decided to give it a shot.
And while Bullock takes a detailed approach to the life they could have shared, or what could have happened if their hypothetical relationship failed to pan out, Reeves takes a more clinical, analytical approach that belies his shyness at revealing a part of his private feelings to the world.
Over the years, however, the two friends who have become really close in spite of the initial nature of their feelings toward each other, have moved on to other partners, leaving the possibilities of all the potential what-ifs to the imagination of the audience.
