Carrying the same joyful vibe, he made an appearance at San Diego Comic-Con in 2008. Numerous fans were lucky enough to meet him in person and he revealed some interesting facts about the story to the audience.

One of Hira Mashima’s surprising revelations at the Comic Con was that his favorite choice for anime Fairy Tail was not A-1 pictures but rather the globally acclaimed and famous studio Pixar.

Unfortunately, Pixar was not the studio that animated Fairy Tail, as A-1 Pictures took over the anime production, did a fantastic job, and made the series to the best of their abilities. A-1 Studios was established in 2005 and 2007 was the year in which the studio produced its first series, Ōkiku Furikabutte.

Ever since, A-1 Studios has been behind the making of several blockbuster anime series such as Solo Leveling, Black Butler, Seven Deadly Sins, Kaguya Sama, Love is War, and many others.

Fairy Tail 100-Year Quest scheduled for July 2024

One of the most exciting anime of the year, Fairy Tail 100 Year Quest, is finally about to be released in 2024. The exact date hasn’t been confirmed by the animation studio, however, it will start airing in July 2024 and fans can barely wait.

Fairy Tail 100 Years Quest is a continuation of the original series which revolves around Natsu and his group as they put diligent efforts into completing the challenging mission of sealing the five dragon gods of Giltena. But will they be able to achieve such a difficult task? Only time will tell.
