Hogwarts Legacy 2 Job Listing was spotted

Hogwarts Legacy 2 is now a hope after leaking in job listing

Despite the excitement from fans of February’s game, the news isn’t exactly one of the most shocking as Hogwarts Legacy had a very successful launch and has already grossed nearly a billion dollars for Warner Games and even though it’s not perfection in the form of the game, a potential sequel would naturally be in the executives’ plans.

In addition to the obvious corporate desire to earn more millions with the new franchise, previous news already pointed to the early development of Hogwarts Legacy 2 with an open world map even larger than the first title and being exclusive to new generation consoles.

The job listing that started the rumor was found on the Warner Bros. website and confirms that Avalanche Software is hiring for a “high profile” AAA game. The job advertisements are for Associate Software Engineer and Senior Character Technical Artist, further promising that the lucky person chosen can help with what “comes next”, indicating that it would not just be an expansion of Hogwarts Legacy, but a completely new game.

Hogwarts Legacy 2 is a hope for fans in the future

Even though this secret new project may be from another, established, or original franchise, other sources claim that the job posting categorizes Unreal Engine 4 experience as required for admission. Due to the use of this engine that was also used to create the first Hogwarts Legacy, it is possible to imagine that they are looking for familiar employees to reuse elements of the original title in the sequel, as is commonly done among developers.

Neither Warner Games nor developer Avalanche Software has officially confirmed the development of the project and now, all that has been said is that there are “long-term plans” for the series following the resounding success.

While the general public is still wary of re-acquainting with the franchise after creator J.K. Rowling, Warner in general seems committed to bringing profits back to the Wizarding World with the arrival of the new TV series and the new console success that is Hogwarts Legacy.

So, fans of Harry Potter and his universe, be ready for what’s next, because the Platform 9 3/4 train doesn’t have expectations for stopping.
