The fickleness of life and its ways seems to have caught up with Hollywood star Jonathan Majors. Having been in the news for all the good reasons over the past few years or so, the MCU actor was arrested on Saturday, 25th March 2023, in New York City, over allegations of assaulting a woman over a domestic dispute.

In spite of the actor’s representatives refuting the claims, the Internet went wild over the allegations and his subsequent arrest, and did not hesitate to speculate about the actor’s future. Majors plays an important role as the central villain in Phase 5 of the MCU, and fans of the franchise were largely divided as to what this meant for the Multiverse Saga.
Jonathan Majors arrested in NYC for allegedly assaulting a woman
Hollywood star Jonathan Majors would probably like to forget about Saturday, 25th March, as soon as possible. The actor was arrested from an apartment in Chelsea, by officers from the New York Police Department, responding to a 911 call that claimed that the 33-year-old male was involved in a domestic dispute with a 30-year-old female. The NYPD in a statement said,
“The victim informed police she was assaulted. Officers placed the 33-year-old male into custody without incident.”
The statement went on to say that the woman had sustained minor injuries to the head and neck and was taken to the hospital.

Representatives of the Creed III star denied the allegations while remaining sufficiently curt about the whole incident. A representative for the actor said to The Hollywood Reporter,
“He has done nothing wrong. We look forward to clearing his name and clearing this up.”
Majors’ last released project was Creed III, which hit theatres earlier in the month. He played a lead role in the movie alongside another MCU star, Michael B Jordan. The movie garnered largely positive reviews.
Fans mull over Jonathan Majors’ future with the MCU
Jonathan Majors plays the role of Kang the Conqueror, the supreme Multiversal villain, who is building up to face off against the MCU heroes at the end of Phase 5. Majors’ arrest leads to complications for his role, what with it being the central character in the Multiverse Saga. Fans took to Twitter to postulate that Hollywood was likely to tear into Majors for the arrest.
Hollywood is about to destroy Jonathan Majors but they kept giving Ezra Miller, Josh Brolin, Brad Pitt, & others chances I need "context." I need the "full details" I'm going to need a video showing the alleged situation with Time stamp and date, and I'm going to need witnesses!

Majors’ Kang had last been seen in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (2023), a movie which introduced the supervillain to the MCU after one of his variants was seen in the Disney+ series, Loki (2021).

Majors is likely to appear in the second season of Loki as well, which is likely to release sometime later this year. He will also appear in the final segment of the Multiverse Saga, Avengers: The Kang Dynasty (2025). Fans are hence divided about the future of Majors within the MCU and in Hollywood at large.
I don't think Hollywood will destroy Majors at all. Once you reach that level that he has, it takes a lot to be toppled. It shouldn't be that way, but it is, and I don't think it'll be different with him.

How the arrest of Majors pans out and how well the allegations against him hold up, if at all, can only be clearer with time.
