Just a little while ago, a report stated that Cavill will be playing a Wolverine variant in the upcoming film, Deadpool & Wolverine. As for how much truth there is to the report, we cannot say.
Recently, insider Alex Perez took to Discord for a Q&A session about the upcoming Marvel Studios projects and he had something to say about Cavill’s alleged MCU role. When a member asked him about the Man of Steel actor playing a Wolverine variant, Perez replied, “There is credence to this rumor.”
Next, a curious fan asked, “The Henry Cavill rumors, is there a timetable of when we will find out who he will be portraying in the MCU?” Without going into the details, Perez simply stated, “This year.” Well, it looks like fans will soon know if Cavill will be playing Wolverine in Deadpool & Wolverine or not since the film comes out in July this year.

After finding out that Cavill’s supposed MCU role could be revealed this year, fans couldn’t be more excited. Whether Cavill becomes a part of the MCU or not is a question no one can answer with absolute certainty, at least for now. All we have to do is wait patiently and hope the rumors are true! After all, who wouldn’t want Cavill to don a super-suit once again!?
