The American model and body-positive activist, Ashley Graham, has recently been in conversation after featuring on the cover page of Maxim’s ‘Hot 100’ cover page and after being crowned as the World’s Sexiest Woman. Followed by her debut on the cover page of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue in 2016, she has been featured in multiple fashion and beauty magazines, including Vogue, Glamour, Elle UK, Style Magazine, and many more.
She is popularly known for being vocal about body positivity and the representation of the plus size models in the fashion industry. Graham has now dethroned the golf influencer Paige Spiranac for the title of the World’s Sexiest Woman by Maxim Magazine.

Ashley Graham Becomes the World’s Sexiest Woman
Ashley Graham has proved that there are no specific criteria to define what ‘beauty’ is. In a fashion industry dominated by the idea of zero figures for models, she has made a name for herself by talking about body positivity, accepting her body, and loving herself for the way she is.
In her cover story, she said, “Our bodies are always changing, and they are always evolving. I’ve been using my own body as a tool to be able to talk about these feelings.” The 35-year-old model has now crossed another milestone in her journey as she left behind stars like Margot Robbie, Cara Delevingne, Ana de Armas, and Doja Cat to become World’s Sexiest Woman.
Maxim Magazine has praised her efforts toward body positivity and has called her “queen of curves.” The mother of three has always been candid about her body changes on Instagram. And she once again opened up about the importance of embracing different body shapes and sizes in her cover story for Maxim.
Ashley Graham Talks About Embracing Body Positivity
In her cover story, Ashley Graham reminisced about the moment she was first featured on the cover of Maxim Magazine. She shared that at the time, she did not have any kids, and now that she has three little kids and is still on the cover page, proves that beauty and hotness come in all shapes and sizes.
“The first time I was on the cover of Maxim I did not have three kids, and this time I have three little babies. It makes you remember that ‘hotness’ is in so many scenarios, and comes in all shapes and sizes.”
Talking about her career highlight, Graham said that she has so many great moments that it would be hard to pinpoint a single one. Graham also mentioned how she was discovered at the age of 12 in a shopping mall in Nebraska, and she is thankful for her modeling career to have a platform to share her thoughts.
She got married to cinematographer Justin Ervin in 2010 after meeting him at a church in 2009. The model described her husband as “different” and that the two have been happily married for 13 years. They have three kids, a two-year-old son Isaac and twins Malachi and Roman. And having children has only added to the model’s drive to do the best in her life.
