One of which was the poor health of the author, which has caused the series to be on a continuous hiatus for many years now.
Although the manga series faces its ups and downs, the fans of the franchise have something to look forward to as a new game produced by Eighting has been announced, which is titled HUNTER×HUNTER: NEN×IMPACT, and a trailer for the same has been released. It would be a 3v3 fight game.

While the Hunter x Hunter manga may be on a long hiatus as the author’s health continues to be unsteady, the fans have something to look forward to.
The story written by Yoshihiro Togashi is one of the most well-crafted pieces of fiction and was hailed by fans as one of the best stories ever.
From the introduction of Nen to power scaling to animation, the series had it all and earned itself a fanbase of millions but due to the poor health of the creator, the series had to go on for a long hiatus.
However, a new game based on the story written by Yoshihiro Togashi has been announced and fans are very excited for it.
The game is titled HUNTER×HUNTER: NEN×IMPACT and is developed by the studio Eighting. It would be a 3v3 fighting game where fans and viewers could play with their favorite characters.

It is being developed by Eighting, i.e. the makers of games like Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds and DNF Duel.
No major updates about the storyline or major details have been revealed yet but an announcement is expected to be made soon.
What’s next for Hunter x Hunter?
Hunter x Hunter is a series that has a very loyal and devoted fanbase and despite the obstacles the series has faced, the fans still give it the same amount of love.
A few chapters of Hunter x Hunter were recently published as the health of the author recovered for a bit, but it quickly went down again.
Togashi has revealed all the possible endings of the series in case he does not see the end of his story due to his poor health.
He hopes that the staff and his family will be able to give the series a conclusion if something happens to him before he ends the story himself.
An anime return is most likely very far away and it would take at least 4-5 years before there is enough source material to adapt from.
