They say good things come in small packages and Hollywood star Natalie Portman is a perfect example of the adage. The Star Wars actor who stands at 5 feet 3 inches in height, is one of the most petite celebrities in Hollywood. Her height became a bigger talking point when she was cast in Thor opposite Chris Hemsworth who was a foot taller than her at 6 feet 3 inches. The two stars who appeared together to promote the film had a hilarious discussion about their significant height difference. Natalie Portman sportingly joked about her diminutive physique and said,

“I was mainly cast because I can make anyone look huge. I’m just extraordinarily short”

Natalie Portman Was Grateful For Chris Hemsworth’s Considerate Nature

It is common knowledge that Natalie Portman is a strict vegan for many years. The Black Swan star who has followed a stringent diet, was grateful to her Thor co-star Chris Hemsworth for respecting her sentiment during their filming schedule for Thor: Love and Thunder. Hemsworth who was bulking up for the role by eating a lot of meat, stopped his non-vegetarian diet during the day to make Portman feel more comfortable during their intimate scenes in the film. The Oscar-winning star lauded the Avengers actor for his thoughtful and considerate actions saying,

He’s really nice. The day we had a kiss scene he didn’t eat meat that morning because I’m vegan. And he eats meat like every half hour. Like, that was so thoughtful. That’s not something I’m angry about or care about, but he was just being thoughtful. He’s just a very nice person”

Portman also recalled many memorable scenes that she and Chris Hemsworth did together in Thor: Love and Thunder which included a dramatic blue screen segment in front of a Best Buy outlet that turned out to be one of the best scenes in the film.
