While some theories make sense, some are just bizarre hypotheses that are developed by One Piece fans for fun. As the end of the series is getting closer by the day, these theories have increased to predict how the valiant tale of One Piece is going to end and how Luffy is going to become the King of the Pirates.

One bizarre theory that surfaced on the internet claims that Luffy and Nami will go back in time and have a kid together. It also explains why the former King of the Pirates, Gol D. Roger laughed at the final island when he reached there.

One Piece Theory Claims Luffy and Nami Will Have a Kid Together

The theory holds that at the very end of One Piece, Luffy and Nami travel back in time, whereupon Luffy becomes JoyBoy and gathers the Kozuki clan—the ones who created the Poneglyphs and knew the mysteries of Laughtale. On the Poneglyphs, Luffy writes, “It was always me, Monkey D. Luffy, the Pirate King, not you, Roger.”

That’s the reason Roger’s Crew found the last island amusing and laughed when they reached there. Following that, Luffy writes an apologetic letter to Fishman Island, stating that he is going to demolish the island in the future. Nami sees to it that they receive straightforward directives.

Luffy and Nami then went on to have children, and their offspring rose to become the Alabasta Fishman and Dressrosa’s monarch and queen. This explains why Nami and Vivi, Rebecca, and Shirahoshi have similar appearances. Toki is also a child of Luffy and Nami, who got lost because of her devil fruit.

Fans React To Bizarre One Piece Theory

This theory was recently shared by @SuperNovahtheories on YouTube, and fans had some disappointed reactions to it. They did not like the idea of Luffy marrying Nami and having kids in the future. Also, Luffy and Nami traveling back in time doesn’t explain how he became the King of the Pirates.

“How could they give birth to a Fishman”

@aliaskv3147 commented:

“Apology in Fishman Island is because Joyboy couldn’t keep the promise to Fishman Island (probably raising the island to the top), not because of some destruction or something”

The theory doesn’t hold much ground as it does not properly support the notions about Luffy becoming the King of the Pirates and traveling back in time. This is why fans don’t like the theory at all and start pointing out the flaws in it.
